Al Rayyan succeeded in defeating Al Arabi with a score of 2-1 during the Qatari football derby that brought the two teams together this evening as part of the 17th round of the Ooredoo Stars League.
Trezeguet advanced for Al Rayyan with a goal in the 5th minute, before Alaa El Din Hassan equalized the result for Al Arabi in the 25th minute, and then Roger succeeded in deciding the match with a goal from a penalty kick in the 73rd minute.
With this result, Al Rayyan advanced to fifth place in the standings with 24 points, while Al Arabi dropped to ninth place with 19 points.
