Róger Guedes was awarded Player of the Match following the clash between Al-Rayyan and Al-Faisaly. During the post-match press conference, he stated: “We knew it would be a tough game; the coach had spoken to us about it throughout the week. We didn’t know their team very well, but we responded extremely well and I think we played an excellent first half. We dropped back a bit in the final minutes of the first half, and in the second half, I think we conceded easy goals that could have been avoided, but congratulations to the team. I thank God once again for scoring and helping the team, and we will keep pushing toward our goal in this tournament.”
