Poya Asbaghi, Al-Rayyan coach, confirmed that the team is ready to face Al-Wakrah in the fifth round of the Ooredoo Stars League. Speaking at the press conference held on the sidelines of this match, he said:

He pointed out that the team feels disappointed with the result of the match against Al-Hilal Saudi, despite the team’s excellent performance during the match. He emphasized that if the team delivered the same performance against Al-Wakrah and gave 99% of their capabilities, they would win the match.
He added: ‘After the Al-Duhail match, the team has been improving from one match to another. The team delivered good performances in the QSL Cup, and then managed to win over Al-Shahaniya in the league. We played a great match against the best team in Asia, and we must maintain that to achieve victory against Al-Wakrah.'”
