Al Rayyan SC has announced the appointment of Swedish coach Poya Asbaghi as head coach of the first football team, joining from Al Shamal SC on a one-year contract to lead the “Rehab” during the new 2024-2025 season.
Asbaghi successfully led Al Shamal last season and presented distinguished levels during the Qatari Stars League. The signing of the Swedish coach comes after Al Rayyan SC announced in the previous period the termination of its contract with Portuguese coach Leonardo Jardim by mutual consent.
