Al Rayyan opened their QSL Cup campaign with a 2-2 draw against Qatar SC in the first-round match played tonight at Grand Hamad Stadium.
The match witnessed strong competition between both sides with balanced attacking play throughout the two halves.

Qatar SC took an early lead through João dos Santos in the 22nd minute, but Al Rayyan responded quickly as Moustafa El-Sayed leveled the score in the 26th minute, bringing the first half to a 1-1 tie.
In the second half, João dos Santos scored his second goal to put Qatar SC ahead in the 53rd minute. Al Rayyan then pushed forward with offensive substitutions, allowing substitute Youssef Al-Alawi to snatch the second equalizer for “The Fierce” in the 76th minute, leaving both teams to share the points at the final whistle.
