Artur Jorge: Our Goal is a Strong Start Against Al-Sailiya

Portuguese coach Artur Jorge, manager of Al-Rayyan, confirmed that the team is ready for the start of the Doha Bank Stars League. During a press conference held on the sidelines of the match, he stated: “We have one path to achieve our goals. The start is always tough, and I’m very pleased with what the team showed during the training camp. Everyone is ready for the league’s kickoff, and our goal is clear: to secure the three points for a strong start.”

He added: “Everyone is ready except for Amid Mahajna and Rodrigo Moreno. The training camp was excellent, as we worked for 21 days, which was a crucial period for developing the team and integrating the new players. We only missed the international players during the camp, as they joined in the last three days, especially the newcomers to the team.”

He continued: “We played a series of good friendly matches where we performed at a high level. Winning the friendlies wasn’t the main focus, but we succeeded in achieving victories while preparing well for the league. Now, the most important thing is to be ready to face Al-Sailiya, secure the three points, and start the league with a win.”

Jorge concluded the press conference with a message to Al-Rayyan fans, saying: “My message to the fans is that we will give 100% effort and aim to compete for titles and championships this season to delight the Al-Rayyan supporters. We now invite them to attend the match and come to the stadium to cheer for the team, as we will be stronger with their support.”
