Artur Jorge, Al-Rayyan’s head coach, expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s recent result against Al-Shahania in the previous round of the Doha bank Stars League. Speaking on the sidelines of the upcoming match against Al-Wakrah in Round 19, he stated:
“We are unhappy with the result of our last match against Al-Shahania. We fully understand that there is no room for any complacency in the remaining league matches.”
The Portuguese coach emphasized the team’s readiness to face Al-Wakrah, adding: “We are at a stage that requires solidarity and teamwork. We all represent a single entity, and our common goal is to finish the league in the best possible position.” He noted that the team’s primary objective is to secure all three points and return to their winning ways.
