Al-Rayyan player André Amaro emphasized that the team is prepared to take on Al-Shamal in the second round of the Doha Bank Stars League. During the press conference, he stated: “We achieved the result we hoped for in the last match against Al-Sailiya, but we didn’t deliver the performance we wanted. Therefore, in this match, we must give our best to secure the victory, as it will be a tough game against a strong team that has retained most of its players from last season. We know they are a challenging side, and we are ready to face them.”
Regarding facing his brother in the previous match, he said: “It was a special match for me, especially since it was the first time I played against my brother in an official game. However, the most important thing is winning the match, and I wish him the best of luck this season.”
