Al Rayyan team suffered a loss to Al Gharafa with a score of 2-3 during the match that brought the two teams together this evening at Thani bin Jassim Stadium at Al Gharafa Club, opening the matches of Round 17 of the Doha Bank Stars League.
Al Rayyan started strongly and took the lead with a goal in the 4th minute through Rodrigo Moreno. In the second half, in the 57th minute, Ferjani Sassi equalized the score, before Amro Surag scored the second goal in the 61st minute. In the 83rd minute, Joselu added the third goal for Al Gharafa, and in the 90+1st minute, Roger Guedes reduced the score for Al Rayyan from a penalty kick.
