Al Rayyan of Qatar achieved an important 1-0 victory over Malaysia’s Johor Darul Ta’zim in a friendly match held on Tuesday, marking the opening of the team’s preparatory matches for the 2025-2026 football season during their training camp in Alicante, Spain.
The sole goal of the match was scored by Belgian midfielder Julian Di Sart in the 80th minute, securing Al Rayyan’s first win in their initial friendly match of the pre-season camp.
Al Rayyan’s preparatory camp, which continues until August 1, includes five additional friendly matches aimed at physically and technically preparing the team for upcoming competitions, starting with the Qatar League’s kickoff on August 14, 2025.
