Al Rayyan fought back from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw against Al Wasl in their AFC Champions League Elite group stage match played at Al Wasl Stadium earlier today.
Kaio opened the scoring for Al Wasl in the 77th minute, but Al Wasl’s Salem Al-Azizi inadvertently turned the ball into his own net in the 85th minute, rescuing a point for Al Rayyan.
The draw takes Al Rayyan’s points tally to five, placing them 7 in the group standings. Al Wasl, on the other hand, moved up to 4 place with 11 points.
