Al-Rayyan succeeded in overturning the score against Al-Shamal and winning with a result of 5-3, after being behind during the match that brought the two teams together this evening at Al-Khor Stadium in the context of the 21st round of the Ooredoo Stars League.
With this result, Al-Rayyan’s tally rose to 30 points, advancing them to fifth place, while Al-Shamal dropped to sixth place with 29 points.
Al-Rayyan took the lead with a goal in the 8th minute through Julian de Sart, and Baghdad Bounedjah equalized for Al-Shamal in the 18th minute from a penalty kick, before Naim Sliti scored the second goal for Al-Ahli in the 34th minute. Roger responded with the equalizing goal in the 42nd minute, and in the 53rd minute, Omar Ali scored the third goal for Al-Shamal. Al-Rayyan then equalized through Omid Ebrahimi’s own goal in the 57th minute. In the 86th minute, Roger returned and scored the fourth goal, before Roger completed his hat-trick and scored Al-Rayyan’s fifth goal in the 90+12th minute.
