Al Rayyan team managed to achieve a big victory over Al Khor with a score of 5-1, during the match that brought the two teams together at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in the opening matches of the 18th round of the Ooredoo Stars League.
With this result, Al Rayyan’s score rose to 27 points in fifth place in the standings, two points behind Al Ahli, who is in fourth place, while Al Khor’s score stopped at 7 points in the last place in the standings.
Julian de Sart advanced for Al Rayyan with a goal in the 10th minute, before Roger Guedes scored the second in the 53rd minute. In the 61st minute, substitute Mahmoud Trezeguet succeeded in scoring the third goal, before Naif Al-Buraiki reduced the score for Al Khor with a goal in the 67th minute, to come the Al Rayyan response with a fourth goal in the 79th minute through Adam Barero, to conclude Mohammed Saleh Al Rayyan’s goals with a fifth goal in the 86th minute.
