Al Rayyan lost their first match in the Qatar Basketball Cup against Qatar Club with a score of 76-80 in the match that brought the two teams together at Al Gharafa Club Hall in the opening of the second group matches of the tournament.
Al Rayyan plays in the second group alongside (Al Ahli, Qatar Club and Al Sadd).
