Al Rayyan SC suffered a 1-4 defeat against Dutch side FC Utrecht in their second friendly match of the pre-season camp currently taking place in the Netherlands.
FC Utrecht took the lead early in the match through Jens Torunstra’s strike in the 5th minute. Al Rayyan equalized in the 26th minute thanks to Rodrigo Moreno’s goal, but Utrecht regained the lead just six minutes later through Oussama Rommens. Noah Ohio added a third goal for Utrecht in the 71st minute, and David sealed the victory with a fourth goal in the 85th minute.
Al Rayyan still have three more friendly matches scheduled during the Dutch camp. They will face Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadisiyah on July 23, Dutch club FC Volendam on July 24, and conclude their friendly fixtures against UAE’s Al Wasl on July 28 before returning to Doha on July 29.
