Al Rayyan team lost to Al Sadd with a score of 1-2 during the match that brought the two teams together this evening at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan club, in the Qatari football Clasico held at the conclusion of the 20th round matches of the Ooredoo Stars League.
With this result, Al Rayyan’s points total stopped at 27, causing them to drop to sixth place, while Al Sadd advanced to the top of the league table after raising their tally to 46 points.
Al Rayyan took the lead with a goal by Adam Barrior in the 56th minute, before Rafa Mujica equalized for Al Sadd in the 67th minute, and substitute Giovane scored the winning goal for Al Sadd in the 69th minute.
