Al Rayyan finishes second in Group A of the Asian Handball Championship

Al Rayyan has secured the second position in the group standings of the 27th edition of the Asian Club Handball Championship, hosted by Al Rayyan Club. Al Rayyan suffered a narrow defeat in their final group stage match against Kuwait SC, losing 34-31 in a match played earlier today at the Union Hall of Al Duhail Club.

With this result, Kuwait SC topped Group A, followed by Al Rayyan in second place, Sharjah SC in third, and Shabab Bahrain in fourth.

Al Rayyan will face Al Duhail in an all-Qatari quarter-final clash on Tuesday.
