Al Rayyan team successfully defeated the UAE’s Sharjah team with a score of 28-26 in a match held this evening at the Handball Federation Hall in Al Duhail Club, as part of the second round of the group stage of the 27th Asian Club Championship.
Al Rayyan trailed in the first half with a score of 13-14, before making a strong comeback in the second half, turning the game in their favor and maintaining their lead for several periods. The team delivered a performance that truly reflects Al Rayyan’s actual level in the championship.
Al Rayyan will next face Kuwait SC on Sunday in the final match of the group stage.
