Al Rayyan secured a 3-1 victory over Muaither in the match played this evening at Al Gharafa’s secondary stadium, as part of the eighth round of the QSL Cup (QSL Cup).
With this result, Al Rayyan raised their tally to 22 points, maintaining the top spot in the standings of the first stage, which is being played in a league format. Meanwhile, Muaither remained on 14 points, staying in eighth place.
Al Rayyan took the lead in the 55th minute through Wesley, before Gabriel Pereira doubled the lead in the 63rd minute. Wesley then scored his second and Al Rayyan’s third goal in the 81st minute. Muaither pulled one back with their only goal in stoppage time.
