Al Rayyan managed to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 victory during the match that brought the two teams together this evening at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in Al Duhail Club, in the Round of 16 of the Amir Cup.
Al Rayyan took the lead with a goal in the 2nd minute through Mohammed Siraj, before Balla Sangare equalized for Lusail from a penalty kick in the 11th minute. The same player then scored Lusail’s second goal in the 19th minute.
In the 53rd minute, Roger Guedes managed to score the equalizer for Al Rayyan, before Julian De Sart put Al Rayyan in the lead in the 79th minute. Adam Bareiro then strengthened Al Rayyan’s lead with a fourth goal in the 90+1 minute.
