Al Rayyan Club has been crowned champions of the Handball League after concluding their season with a 34-22 victory over Al Shamal in the match that brought the two teams together this evening at the Duhail Hall in the conclusion of the league matches, to end the “Al Rahib” season in first place with 51 points, six points ahead of Al Arabi, who finished second.
Ahmed Al Shaabi, President of the Handball Federation, and Sheikh Ali bin Saud Al Thani, Vice President of Al Rayyan Club, crowned the champions with the title. Al Rayyan had secured the title two rounds before the conclusion and waited for the final round to be officially crowned league champions.
