Al-Raheeb Reaches Qatar Cup Final to Face Al-Sadd

Al Rayyan qualified for the final of the Qatar Cup after defeating Al Shamal 5–4 on penalties, following a 3–3 draw in regulation time during the semi-final match held this evening at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium (Al Sadd SC).
Roger Guedes opened the scoring for Al Rayyan in the 22nd minute, before Wesley Said equalized for Al Shamal in the 27th minute. In the 54th minute, Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane scored Al Shamal’s second goal, followed by a third from Wesley Said in the 64th minute. Roger Guedes narrowed the deficit for Al Rayyan from the penalty spot in the 74th minute, before substitute Julien De Sart struck the equalizer for Al-Raheeb in the 90+6th minute.
