Vicente Moreno, head coach of Al Rayyan, expressed his happiness with his team’s victory over Oman’s Al Nahda in the AFC Champions League Two. Speaking at the post-match press conference, he said: “We are very happy because our goal today was to win. We knew the match was going to be extremely difficult for that reason. We are very, very happy.”
He added: “Of course, we would prefer to secure first place—that is very true—but the most important thing is qualifying. Right now, we are in a good position. The main priority today was getting the win, and now we can focus on the upcoming match against Al Sadd, which, as you know, is very important for us.”
