Al Rayyan player Youssef Ayman stressed the squad’s readiness to face Oman’s Al-Nahda in the AFC Champions League Two. Speaking during the press conference, he said: “It was a fantastic feeling to secure the win and get all three points in our last match against them, especially since it was an away game. Tomorrow’s match is equally important; we aim to win, take the three points, and hopefully reclaim the top spot in our group, God willing. We hope to deliver a strong performance worthy of the team and build solid momentum for the upcoming matches.”
Regarding competing on two fronts and the upcoming high-profile fixture against Al Sadd, he added: “Competing in two competitions naturally requires a tremendous amount of effort, but that is standard when you play for a big club with squad depth that allows for rotation. As the coach mentioned, we hold full respect for Al-Nahda, so we will approach this one game at a time. We definitely want to qualify and regain the top spot, so we will enter the match with complete seriousness before turning our focus back to the local league. The most important thing is always to focus on the immediate match ahead.”
