Vicente Moreno, the Spanish head coach of Al Rayyan, emphasized his team’s readiness to face Al Sailiya in Round 7 of the Doha Bank Stars League. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, he stated: “Yes, one thing is very clear to me regarding tomorrow; we certainly know that tomorrow’s match will be very difficult for us, and for various reasons. They have good players and a distinguished coach. In addition, as usual, all teams playing against us enter the match with immense motivation and incentive.”
He added: “We must show great respect to Al Sailiya. While it’s true they are currently at the bottom of the standings, every match has its own distinct circumstances. I repeat that tomorrow’s match will be very complex for us, but I have complete confidence in my players. We need to win to continue holding onto first place. We know that being on top is not the most critical thing at this stage, but if possible, we prefer to win tomorrow and remain in the lead.”
