Vicente Moreno, the Spanish head coach of Al Rayyan, confirmed the team’s readiness to face Al Gharafa in Round 6 of the Doha Bank Stars League. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, he stated: “Yes, it’s a big and very important match for us, especially after our last game. Tomorrow, we need to win and we want to win. I hope we deliver a strong performance for ourselves and our fans. I repeat, I believe this is a crucial game for us, and tomorrow we want the victory.”
He added: “Tomorrow’s match against Al Gharafa will be very tough. All matches are difficult, but particularly against Al Gharafa, as we know how challenging it was to beat them last season. Again, we want to win against them because after our previous result, we need to get back on track, and we understand what that means to our fans. Ultimately, they also have a very solid team, but I hope we can manage to secure the victory.”
Addressing the supporters, he said: “We need our fans, and we play for them. I have full confidence in my players, and I know they want to win for the supporters as well. Tomorrow, we will give everything we have to win the match, especially for them.”
