Al Rayyan player Ahmed Al-Minhali highlighted the importance of the match against Saudi Arabia’s Al-Taawoun in the AFC Champions League Two, stating during the press conference: “I welcome our Saudi brothers and wish everyone a speedy recovery from injuries; hopefully, this period passes quickly. Regarding the match, I cannot add much to what the coach said; it is an important game, especially since Al-Taawoun is not going through the best phase, despite being one of the top clubs in the Saudi League last season and a tough contender.”
