AlRayyan Sports Club has announced the signing of a new partnership agreement with United Development Company (UDC), one of Qatar’s leading public shareholding companies and the master developer of The Pearl and Gewan Islands. Under this agreement, UDC becomes the club’s “Official Real Estate Partner” for three upcoming sports seasons, ending in 2029.

This agreement falls under Al Rayyan SC’s strategic plans to expand its investment partnership base with major leading national companies, enhancing the club’s investment status and supporting its sports and development programs and aspirations in the coming years.

Eng. Mohamed Nabil Al Atwan, CEO of Al Rayyan Football Club Company and General Supervisor of Al Rayyan Sports Club, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating: “We are proud to sign with United Development Company as the official real estate partner of Al Rayyan SC for the next three seasons. The joining of a company with the weight and stature of UDC to our list of partners reflects Al Rayyan SC’s investment value and its appeal in the sports sector. We are confident that this agreement will positively impact the club’s journey and open new horizons for fruitful cooperation.”

On this occasion, Mr. Hussain Akbar Al Baker, Executive Director Commercial at United Development Company, said: “At United Development Company, we view partnerships as an extension of our strategy, not merely institutional presence. Selecting Al Rayyan SC is based on its established standing, strong brand, and deep connection with its fanbase—elements that provide a solid and buildable foundation for this collaboration.”

Al Baker added: “This agreement is an investment in a long-term relationship bringing together two parties, each holding an influential presence in their respective fields. Our goal over the next three years is to turn this partnership into tangible value, strengthening both parties’ positions and unlocking new opportunities for growth and cooperation.”

This partnership underscores UDC’s commitment to its community and sports role, alongside its support for national institutions to help fulfill “Al-Raheeb’s” (The Terrible) aspirations and support its continued competitiveness across all levels.
