Al Rayyan SC was crowned champions of the Gulf Club Champions League after securing a well-deserved and emphatic 3-0 victory against Saudi side Al Shabab in the final held at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. Following a goalless first half, David Garcia broke the deadlock in the 60th minute, before Mitrović doubled the lead in the 78th minute. Roger Guedes then sealed the triumph with a third goal in the 81st minute, officially crowning “The Lions” with the prestigious Gulf title.
