Al-Rayyan Club has secured a historic date by booking their ticket to the final of the Gulf Clubs Champions League. The Qatari side achieved a well-deserved and valuable 2-0 victory over Kuwait’s Al-Qadsia in the match held this evening at the iconic Ahmed bin Ali Stadium.
“The Fearless” (Al-Rayyan) imposed their control over the game from the very beginning and did not delay in converting their superiority into goals. Brazilian star Roger Guedes opened the scoring in the 17th minute, giving Al-Rayyan the lead and igniting the stands filled with Al-Rayyan fans.
In the second half, Al-Rayyan continued their pressure to strengthen the lead. Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrović successfully added the second goal in the 50th minute, securing the team’s passage to the final stage of the tournament.
