The first team of Al-Rayyan Club’s futsal section has been crowned champions of the 2025-2026 league season after a thrilling 2-1 victory over Al-Khor in the final match, which was held at Al-Gharafa Club Hall.
With this precious win, “Al-Raheeb” (The Terrific) raised their tally to 30 points, tying with Qatar Club at the top of the overall standings. However, the head-to-head record favored Al-Rayyan, securing the title for them and returning the league shield to the club’s trophy cabinet thanks to the players’ determination and fighting spirit until the very last moments.
Al-Rayyan entered the match with the slogan “No alternative to winning” in order to clinch the title. The game witnessed strong competition from Al-Khor, but the experience of Al-Rayyan’s players decided the outcome by scoring two goals to one.
The team delivered an exceptional season characterized by technical stability and a fighting spirit. They successfully overcame all obstacles and stood firm against the fierce competition from Qatar Club and Al-Gharafa Club, until their efforts were finally rewarded with the gold in the last round.
