Mahmoud Aboundi, Al Rayyan’s goalkeeper, confirmed that the team is ready to face Qatar SC, and said during the press conference: “The preparations for the match against Qatar SC are at the highest level, and the coach has equipped the team with the essential things it needs for this match. The confrontation will not be easy for both teams, and we aspire to achieve the three points, as it is an important match for the team and the overall standings in the league. As for my joining the national team, this did not come out of nowhere but from the support of the coach and the technical and administrative staff, and the help of the players. I aspire to be in the national team because it is an honor for me and for the club. As for the Qatar match, we will enter the match with the highest focus in order to please the fans and win the match.”
He added: “The season is long, and the most important thing in the season is consistency and patience, and this comes through work throughout the season, not just from 3 matches. Every club aspires to collect the largest number of points, and Al Rayyan’s policy, and the coach’s policy, is to focus on each match individually. Our focus now is on harvesting the three points from the upcoming match, and then we think about the next one.”
