Al Rayyan Crowned Champions of the 2025 Asian Volleyball Club Championship

Al Rayyan Club achieved a historic milestone by clinching the 2025 Asian Volleyball Club Championship title, defeating Japan’s Osaka Blutionion 3-0 in the final match held in Tokyo on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Al Rayyan dominated the match from the start, relying on a strong and disciplined performance, decisively winning all three sets, which showcased the team’s technical stability and collective maturity. The team began their tournament journey impressively, topping Group D with a perfect record after 3-0 victories over Bahrain’s Al Muharraq and Vietnam’s Sport Training Center. In the knockout stages, Al Rayyan continued their brilliance, overcoming Kazakhstan’s Aktobe 3-1 in the quarterfinals and securing a thrilling 3-2 win against Japan’s Suntory in the semifinals.

With this triumph, Al Rayyan officially qualified for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship, set to take place at the end of the year under the supervision of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). This achievement caps an exceptional season for Al Rayyan, who claimed all domestic titles in Qatar and secured the West Asian Volleyball Championship title for the third consecutive time.
