Yunus Ali, the manager of Al Rayyan, emphasized the significance of Al Rayyan’s match against Qatar SC in the final round of the first half of the Ooredoo Stars League. During the pre-match press conference, he stated, “The match against Qatar SC will be tough and very important for both teams. We are not satisfied with our current position and are aiming for a victory to climb the table. We also seek to replicate the team’s performance from the AFC Champions League in this upcoming match and conclude the first half with a win, then focus on the second phase of the league.”
He added, “We will try to capitalize on the team’s results in the AFC Champions League. The team is capable of facing any team or opponent, regardless of their strength. Recently, there has been a difference in desire between the Champions League and the domestic league. We aspire to transfer the same level of determination that we had in our last Champions League match to perform well against Al Gharafa and secure the three points.”
Ali also revealed that all the players who participated in the last match against Al Wasl are ready. He confirmed that there are no injuries within the team, except for Pereira, who will return in two months.
