Al Rayyan successfully defeated Qatar SC with a resounding 5-2 scoreline in a friendly match held at Lusail Stadium this evening. The match served as preparation for their upcoming encounter against Umm Salal in the opening round of the QNB Stars League.
Gabriël Pereira opened the scoring for Al Rayyan in the 15th minute, before Tabata doubled the lead in the 35th minute. Roger Guedes then added a third goal in the 38th minute, and soon after, Guedes netted his second and the team’s fourth in the 43rd minute.
In the second half, Malango pulled one back for Qatar SC in the 55th minute. However, Pereira restored Al Rayyan’s five-goal advantage in the 61st minute. Malango managed to score a second goal for Qatar SC in the 88th minute.
