Portuguese coach Leonardo Jardim, Al Rayyan’s manager, stressed the importance of the upcoming match between Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa in the 18th round of the Expo Stars League.
During the press conference held on the sidelines of the match, Jardim said:
“We will face a strong competitive opponent who has the same goals as Al Rayyan. Both teams are having a great season, better than last season, as they are fighting for second place in the Expo Stars League standings. So, I expect it to be a big match for the team, and we will fight to get the three points.”

Jardim also hoped for a large crowd presence in the match.
“The fan turnout in the last match was not very large, so I hope they will be present in force during the Al Gharafa match, as the fans’ support will be very important in this big match, especially at this important stage of the league
